Patholmsviken

Tidigt på morgonen åkte vi till Lycksele, där vi besökte Gammlia - ett utomhusmuseum med gamla byggnader och Skogsmuseet. Utställningen på museet berättar bland annat om flottningen på Umeå älv.

Early in the morning we started our day by driving to Lycksele in southern Lapland. We visited Gammlia, an open air-museum with old buildings and The Museum of Foresty. The exhibitions in the museum describe the time when foresty work was done manually - with axe, saw, lifting hook and debarking spade - and when timber was flooted on rivers, streams and brooks.
